RE: Saving Vegas Pro 22 snapshot distorts the image
@James-Snead Hi, what are the project settings, Pixel aspect ratio? Can you share a picture of that? There's an App called MediaInfo that will show the properties of your file. Download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or

RE: Correct width/height ratio for 4x3 video
I have a number of videos that - somewhere along the line - had their width/height ratio altered. Is there a way I can put them back to their correct shape? For example, if I set the editing programme to 704x576, and then stretch out the actual

RE: [Solved] Bad Pixelation happening in Vegas Pro 22 (build 194)
@Debbie-Whitmer If you can provide MediaInfo and a sample of the same kind of footage you are using (a capture done in the same way) it would help with troubleshooting. VEGAS Pro has a new media decoder that is faster and more stable than what 20

RE: Saving a sub-clip as a separate file.
@James-Snead Hi, 1920x1080 isn't big as an input, the output doesn't really matter at the mo but the type of input file might/would affect how your PC handles it. There's an App called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no

RE: VRAM Bottleneck in Vegas Pro 22 – Considering GPU Upgrade to RX 7900 X
@Howard-Vigorita Are you using the free version of Resolve, I think I always assumed you had studio like a few others here, I wonder if your lower quality encoding results are somehow the cause of software decoding? But interestingly I did see that

RE: Video added to timeline has limited color
@sRecollet Thanks for that, different frame rate but the rest is the same as mine,. For future filming you could turn off the HDR10+ option on your phone so it records in 8bit & you won't have this problem, at least until you update Vegas

RE: Vegas Preview Window and rendered videos graphically garbled
@Janner The way I do it is to just select CBR as the rate control strategy. Seems to always give me CFR in OBS. I always like more frequent index frames for easier editing, but it does make the render size a little larger... but nothing like ProRes

@Steve-Marsh3386 Hi, your image doesn't show the full info of the media you're using? If this is recent footage that you're using it could well be MP4 HEVC, this is a newer version of MP4 AVC, your VMS 10 won't be compatible with MP4 HEVC, you'll
