RE: Some curiosity full questions about VEGAS's Future?
I was sad to learn that Vegas Pro Post is no more. But now I understand why. HitFilm Pro, the original author of the compositor Vegas Effects is about to fade away into history. That said, are there any plans to develop a similar compositor? I’m

RE: Vegas using a single core for rendering?
Okay, after doing a bunch more tests- it seems like nested timelines preform terribly in general. I did some super basic tests with many jpgs, few jpgs, many png, few png, motion, no motion. Despite all these tests running completely fine when

RE: nearest-neighbor video interpolation?
😭😭😭 THANK YOU... you're the only person i've seen on the entire internet who has answered this question. this is the result of pan & crop zooming in on the spot, and THEN doing anything like masks or Track Motion afterwards. more or less,

RE: GPU recommendations?
Yes that 4070-s is good value but only has 12gb, I like the $450 price tag. You think I can get by smoothly with that card, editing 4k footage, color grading, titles, motion tracking, etc? I'll have an i9 14900k and 96Gb RAM. The Ti looks to only

RE: Video rendered with all footage sped up.
This is odd: Frame rate : 7 495.659 FPS How exactly did you generate this media? I watched through the video and don't see any point where the audio and video is out of sync or the video seems to be moving in fast

RE: Color grading in 21 Vegas Pro
@gorGaram said: "Swap them." Does this suit you? @john_dennis I'm probably wrong, you've got it done by track motion. I wrote about this above.

RE: Color grading in 21 Vegas Pro
Using the same frame sizes for both the Project Settings and media in pan/crop, I cannot repro that result with the CGP being placed before Pan/Crop. Use Track Motion to locate your selection on the screen Exaclty ... as I suggested earlier on in

RE: What do I need to do to not lose custom settings upon fresh reinstall?
Why in the Registry when other settings are either in your User AppData or your User Documents as shown earlier by Dexcon. There's probably a good technical reason but being inquisitive I wonder why. As for your original query I assume you've

@gorGaram said: "What am I doing wrong?" Use Pan/Crop to select what you want to show on each track. Use Track Motion to locate your selection on the screen.

RE: Best Quality Render Settings?
Just wanted to point out something I noticed. Rendering with NV Encoder is much faster but the video quality is actually noticeably worse. I shot some videos in 60fps and slowed them down 50% so to get the best slow motion I would render in 30 fps

Audio Waveform?
Is there a way to display the audio wave forms in Vegas Effects like there is in Vegas Pro? I am making a motion graphic that I am timing up to an audio clip and currently I am just fiddling with the placement of the audio until it looks and sounds

RE: Motion Tracking broken in Vegas 22
You still see the issue in the new build 239 ? Unfortunately I do, whenever I try to motion track anything the tracking gets generated, but then it becomes fragmented the moment I try to apply it to anything or I simply move to another event and

RE: Short Youtube Format (1080X1920) : problem moving an image
Dave, the principle of Event Pan/Crop is that you are moving the picture frame, and not the image; so you have to adjust the size handles carefully. This can take a long time to get used to. In the meantime, the suggestion to use Track Motion

RE: flickers/glitches in video after rendering in Vegas 22
I am getting exactly the same, hence why I found this post. Its very random though, I can render the same project twice with same settings and I will get it on one, not the other. Its always on shots that may be black and white or if I have used the

RE: How can we fix a motion blur video?
You can't fix this. The camera only recorded movement every few frames. You might ask your client to look at the shutter speed setting. For 29.97p, 1/60 sec should give more reasonable results. can we decrease its motion blur effect somehow like

A very very dumb move indeed. I remember mentioning the very day Artlist acquired FXHome that it was the end of FXHome. Artlist is a stock footage provider at heart, and has no business or true experience in Professional Compositing & Motion

RE: Bit Rate as a Function of Complexity: Constant Rate Factor Encoding
The average bitrate of even a complex motion-in-detail x264 can be tamed by adjusting the vbv-bufsize and vbv-maxrate ratio. Very useful for streaming on social media with their peak bitrate penalties. @mark-y Indeed very usefull, could you tell

Can you make a screen recording of these, which will help everyone understand what you mean. I am assuming you mean in VideoStudio... correct? Also, are you asking for photos or video? I suppose a video will work, though I am not if I can post that

RE: Help needed...New to Voukoder 13.4.1
The Vimeo bitrate is about 6Mbit/s and at 1080P60 H.264 the video is too complex for the compression, it would look far worse on YouTube. Based on even an AV1 version I made looking not great either I conclude it may not be possible to make this

RE: How to work with timeline from the text "location" timeline?
If i want text to move with a characters head or body then it's extremely difficult. I presumed from that statement that the OP wanted to attach text to a moving object. I want it to be above a object/person and move along with them. Using the
