  I have a timeline with MXF file on it, and as soon as I start adjusting track motion, the picture freezes and locks on a frame, and all the track effects don't work anymore. It's unfortunate, because I was SO excited about how much more stable MKVs

  Copy/paste using "selectively paste ..." clearly doesn't have a copy/paste frame size option ... and I don't think that there is such an option to copy/paste frame size dimensions from one video event to another. If there is, I'd really like to know

  @melory-f Probably, the most direct way to achieve your goal is to recognize that you are trying to vertically stack parts of two 1920x1080 images into a 1080x1920 frame. The symmetrical dimensions available for each vertical half is 1080x960

  You could manually duplicate tracks and use a motion blur or gaussian blur on the background one- search for online tutorials for this. Newer versions of Vegas also have "Black Bar Fill" Fx that makes this very easy. Overview .

  Been playing with double frame rates and Vegas just doesn't like em much regardless of the format or wrapper. I see hardware decoding happening with mov or mp4 re-wraps but still lackluster performance. Find the best way to handle them on my system
