RE: Video preview laggy with a i9-12900K, RTX 3070 and 64GB DDR5 RAM?!?!?!
Thanks @Former user 👍 Hi, I'm fully aware that my PC is no comparison to the average PC but if there is a prob with a file or as in this case a poss clash with an RTX3000 series + this file, it will show no matter what my PC specs are. This file

RE: Lock track does not work correctly.
@Jonathan-Hill Hi, you keep saying 'lock track' but you also say 'I right clicked on the track and selected "switches" and checked- "lock". ' As @Yelandkeil says there's no lock track, you can lock an event/events on the timeline, but you can't lock

RE: VEGAS MAXES OUT MY CPU, BUT USES VERY LITTLE GPU AND RAM
@AaronL When you choose Game Ready driver & at that moment you're on Studio driver, it will load the Game driver, i don't know if it is 'loading' it from the internet or your PC but it feels like an install if that makes sense, for me it doesn't

RE: VEGAS Pro 19 Update 4 (Build 550)
I got this crash just now, but can't be sure whether it's from VEGAS or the latest AMD graphic driver 22.2.3. I even couldn't capture the screen. I shot an image.

RE: Viewing/Editing Google Pixel 7 video in Vegas, doesn't look right?
Assuming the first link is the original file, it's HDR. Are you viewing it on a HDR monitor? Do you intend to output for others to view in HDR? If not, consider non-HDR capture settings on your phone. Here's what it looks like in my player on a SDR

RE: VEGAS 14 - Video is Washed Out and Audio Screeches!?
Vegas Pro 14 does not support HEVC 10 Bit REC 2020 PQ (ST2084/2086) encoding format in any way, shape, or form. The reason is that this format was released many years after Vegas Pro 14 reached its end-of-life, since which time it has no longer

@Kati-Matrai Hi, I'm a little lost now as to where you are struggling, you need to upload as many full screen pics as poss, when you open a setting, take a screen capture, save it in a folder & upload them all here. The Vegas screen with preview

@john_dennis I've attached a bunch of pictures to this one that should clear up the rest. Both of the individual devices, a screen capture and my video capture device are put into Streamlabs OBS and recorded as one 3840x1080 (picture attached)

    Screen capture not recognising monitor
Hi all, thanks in advance- I have Vegas pro 19, which I purchased to upgrade from the 16 specifically because it offered screen capture function. But when I run it, the only video option available is the camera (in the monitor) and the monitor

RE: Help Needed For New PC Build That Edits Smoothly in 4K
i wonder if Vegas Pro 19 Utilizes the IGPU the same way as Adobe Premiere or Davinci resolve. I found a screen capture I made a while ago comparing HEVC playback with Vegas and Premiere. It is a 120fps HEVC 422 being played back(No gpu decoder).

RE: Screen capture not recognising monitor
To get it to recognize my nVidia card, I had to go to the nVidia control panel and tell it that it must use this card for that EXE file. Then I have to start it manually in order to get the screen recognized. So I just use VEGAS Stream to capture

RE: My Vegas 20.0 crashes everytime I open it and then try to import a vid
@RogerS1. The reason why I didn't feel the need to give you more information about the Intel CPU is because that laptop doesn't have any issues running Vegas. My point was that my other lesser specced laptop (which is without question) can run Vegas

    RE: Issue importing mp4 file
Looks like a conflict due to each Video codec and Audio codec. The Video codec is AVC and usually it pairs with Audio codec of AAC. What your shared-mediainfo data shows the Audio codec is MPEG audio (MP3?)   If this MP4 is from other editor or

@Former user Legacy AVC unticked, Vegas restarted, it faltered at the end of the second event but 3rd time around it completed at full 25fps, In the video, Video Encode is the screen capture so this is a screenshot of playing on it's 4th go around

RE: ffmpeg command for transcoding MKVs into Vegas friendly h.264 MP4s?
To capture gameplay, doing it in hardware within your gpu is another way to go which is usually best... Nvidia, Amd, and Intel all have ways to do that. Vegas can also do screen capture and works well for some but gives me mixed results on my
