Intensity Pro users?
If there are any folks out there that still use the old Blackmagic Intensity Pro card to drive an external monitor... I have always had the issue of it, at various times and for no apparent reason, stop displaying "motion" from the Vegas timeline on

RE: VHS Capture
Not all cameras pass-through. I have a Digital 8 which did not no matter what I tried. If you have the Blackmagic, that would be your best quality. Use the Blackmagic software to capture and then edit in Vegas.

VHS Capture
I need to capture some VHS footage. I have a Dazzle that can capture to Pinnacle Studio. From what I understand, even with the limits of VHS quality, I can get better results than with the Dazzle. I connected my Sony SLV-R1000 via S-Video (through a

RE: No audio when adding video to a timeline
@VEGAS_EricD It's not from BlackMagic but the ProRes sample(s) from ARRI with multi-channel audio that I linked to in this comment might be useful for you in resolving this issue.

RE: Capture with Easycap
I have a few, old VHS tape. Is it possible to capture it to 720x576 50i mpeg2 format with Vegas? Not without some hardware that can convert the VHS analog video/audio to digital. Back when, I used to have an analog TV card that allowed me to watch

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 14 Update 4 (build 211)
Again thanks for your great work! There seems to be trouble, though, with using Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K as a preview device in cunjunction with ProRes files - after a few seconds of playback Vegas 14 (211) crashes, that's repeatable. With other

RE: Camera / software compatibility
Thank you for the reply. Cost is the simple answer. I have VMS 8 which cannot handle the 'new' format. I have been looking around on Ebay for an earlier version (than 14). I suppose waiting for 14 would be good but if an earlier version is more

RE: Vegas Pro Edit and Davinci Resolve - Workflow
I export a master video from Resolve back to Vegas for audio work, for which Vegas is far superior. Hello. This part interest me. I edited a short movie in Resolve 12.5. Now I need to give this to my sound designer who use Vegas 14 to work on

I for one will not "stand in the way of progress" and will step down when I still can make my own choices and stay with vs. 13. Come on, vkmast... I am not trying to shut people up. I am merely trying to urge people to see the bigger picture. I am

Thank you all for your advice. Several local studios have high end BlackMagic kit (Black Magic is based here in Melbourne) so I don't expect quality to be an issue. My humble equipment is currently limited by budget and by the fact that I often have

RE: VP13 not recording with Motu 828 Mk II

RE: Movie Studio 13 Platium Crashing issue
Not sure Vegas can read mp4 AVC with ac3 audio, try aac instead. Remuxing TS file to m2ts with tsmuxer could work. Wish I'd thought to try that... I super hate to be wrong, but I have to test. Going to see if that's the problem. X.x

RE: What's up with T/L playback speed?!!
