    RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f Probably, the most direct way to achieve your goal is to recognize that you are trying to vertically stack parts of two 1920x1080 images into a 1080x1920 frame. The symmetrical dimensions available for each vertical half is 1080x960

RE: Why don't slo-mo methods look as good as the Video Preview window?
@stevefoobar2  Are you comparing what you see in a small video preview window with a full-screen video player? There can be a big difference depending on which slow-motion method you used and what you have selected for resample mode in Project

RE: VP22 - 4K MXF files not doing too well
I have a timeline with MXF file on it, and as soon as I start adjusting track motion, the picture freezes and locks on a frame, and all the track effects don't work anymore. It's unfortunate, because I was SO excited about how much more stable MKVs

    RE: color correction
I did resize before my test and it worked fine. My "color correction" was automatically placed AFTER Pan/Crop. However, I had resized with Track Motion. Testing again - resizing with Pan/Crop - I'm seeing no difference with before or after and both

RE: Bit Rate as a Function of Complexity: Constant Rate Factor Encoding
But I also know that hevc captures and reproduces complexity better than avc That is not my understanding. HEVC, under optimal circumstances, can approach the motion complexity metrics of AVC, doing so at a lower average bitrate. HEVC was designed

To add to what @Former user, @Jeffrey-Stachowiak supply the settings you used in AI Dehaze. I posted a clip here already. Page 5 I believe. I’ve been working on one video compilation about 12:30 long. About 50 GoPro 4k 120fps clips many stretched to

RE: Recommend NTSC VHS mp4 Project/Encode Settings?
Optical flow is used for slow motion and delivers great results there. Here the idea is to use it to interpolate the two interlaced fields. Maybe a wrong idea. Here the suggested workflow seems to work nice with tbc stabilized footage from the old

RE: Vegas Pro 20 (Build 411) - Issue With Track Motion
@MH7 and @Dexcon, I turned off the GPU to see if that was the issue since others with Nvidia cards aren't experiencing this. I left AMD on in File I/O, both RAW Processor and Hardware Decoder, but in Video>GPU Acceleration, I had as OFF, the

    RE: nearest-neighbor video interpolation?
@alice Your question should have nothing to do with scaling interpolation. You should use Event Pan/Crop instead of Track Motion to scale it. You need to remember one point: All operations after Pan/Crop are quantized to the project resolution.Your

    RE: Go into slow-motion gradually?
Both options are percentage based and are difficult to handle because they both don't change automatically the event length according the new speed. Slow Motion FX has an option to do so.

[WIP OFX Plug-In] Sapphire-esque transform plug-in with extra features
Hello, VEGAS community! I saw @zzzzzz9125's post of a work-in-progress OFX plug-in and was inspired to share a preview of my own plug-in! This plug-in is heavily inspired by Boris FX Sapphire's S_WarpTransform and S_Shake effects, but has a plethora

There is another alternative: try REVision Twixtor. This is a famous plug-in for frame interpolation, which has its own unique algorithm different from optical flow and is generally considered as the best in this field (except AI algorithm). Twixtor

I see this thread has been dormant for a while, but I thought I'd chime in anyway. I recently upgraded from Movie Studio Platinum 17 where it worked fine. But I confirm this behaviour is still in VP22. (Note that I'm currently using the 30-trial of

RE: Vegas from Sony to now
All you've shown is that having VEGAS resample an image from 240p makes it a smeared mess... and your opinion is that is makes it look smoother... My opinion is that it makes it look even less smooth, because you can't even properly see the motion

RE: Render with transparency always less vibrant?
In the most general sense, Vegas has gotten worse at correctly recognizing input file properties, both from motion and still media. This includes colorspace profile, alpha, and aspect.
