RE: Vegas 521 64 bit Horrible
Lots of crashes for me, too - some random, some repeatable (V11-64, build 521). Media - sometimes merely clicking on a piece of media in the Explorer tab will cause Vegas to crash. Reopen and the same media causes no issues at all. Effects - Color

RE: Vegas 521 64 bit Horrible
Have exactly the same problem - unfortunately I am new to Vegas and so far not impressed at all for the vast amount of money I paid. Pro 11, build 521, running on W7 Ulimate 64 bit, Intel i7 3.07GHz, 16G Ram, NVIDIA GeForce GT 440. Basically it

RE: Sony Full HD 3D Rendering - Is it possible?
Hi Matt, I have this camera – Sony HDR-TD10, NTSC version. I haven’t significant issues with Vegas Pro 8,9,10,11 because I use them on more or less dedicated computers. Of course there are some annoying “rules” you need to follow – for instance I

Vegas Pro Crashing at start project
Recently, I erased a Vegas Pro project and had to recover the file. It was a big file and took a lot of time to make. It is a 46 minute video. The drive (C:) where Vegas Pro was installed was not affected but I tried re-installing Vegas Pro anyway.

RE: Vegas 11 Users: Guinea Pig Volunteers?
The file caused Vegas Pro 11-521 on WIndows 7 64 bit to crash and start a report. I remuxed to transport stream (ts) in tsMuxer and got these errors for those who know about transport streams. MTS to ts Error Attempt to demux Vegas 8.0 worked.

Vegas 11 Users: Guinea Pig Volunteers?
[edit]Many thanks to all who volunteered. I think I have the "database" needed to confirm that the problem definitely extends to Vegas 11. No need for any more people to crash Vegas in the name of science ...[/end edit] I have a 120 MB AVCHD file

RE: Render To Square Aspect for Cubes VP11?
Vegas 11 has gone backwards!.... SCS has lost touch with its users. It appears you can only render to set formats of the web, DVD, HD, and SD. This is a big issue. just one example I also create animation and video content for large LED

Quicktime crashes in every render? Win 64 Bit
I have 2 projects I am trying to render, and I can't render them in Quicktime at all. This is pretty embarrassing as an editor, to have to tell other people that I can't deliver quicktime. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit. Quicktime 7.7.1

RE: Footage replacement bug?
"It's just a bug like any other and I'm sure everybody could have found a workaround" No it isn't. Have you had it happen to you? Sounds like you don't know too much about it. It is a devastating bug where clips that have been edited on the

RE: Clean Win 7-64 Install + 521 ONLY. Still crashes.
With regard to the memory comment... I had done a major upgrade from XP Pro 32bit to Win 7 64bit. Everything seemed stable, so I went ahead and upgraded from Pro 8 to 11. And that's when the random crashes started all the way to BSOD. I thought

Clean Win 7-64 Install + 521 ONLY. Still crashes.
In an attempt to narrow down the crash culprit(s), I did (another) full, clean Win 7-64 install. This time, I loaded only Vegas 11... no plug-ins, no other audio/video software or drivers. The only software added was AVG free, DisplayFusion (to

Vegas Pro 11 - 521, More for Sony CS to look into

RE: Boycott Vegas 12 unless Vegas 11 gets stable!
The "problem" with Vegas is the problem with any commercial software written for the PC. The author of the 3rd party software cannot control: 1) the OS version that the software will run on. Notice that in a limited way, Adobe did that by dropping

Boycott Vegas 12 unless Vegas 11 gets stable!
A few people on this forum want Vegas 10 fixed. I feel that this is a lost cause! Many of us have already bought Vegas 11, hoping that it would solve all of the Vegas 10 issues... that was foolish of us. Let's not keep on making that mistake.

RE: WE the people, in search of a more perfect V10...
Short version: SCS does not have the resources (money and/or otherwise) to do what those in this thread want! Read below for the long version: Ok, so let’s assume that SCS sincerely wants to do at least something for version 10. When it comes to

RE: V Pro 11 Advantage to 64 bit
Vegas Pro 11 build 512 is the first 64bit Vegas I've ran. All others have been 32bit on 32bit OS's. I'm on a (not so strong) Mac running Windows 7 64bit natively via Bootcamp and I am noticing a difference in performance. For the first time since
