    RE: Vibrance FX Tips
Graide Color Curves provides a much faster way to alter saturation by range or even luminance. I stopped using color corrector secondary as it took too much time. Alternatively, Leeming LUT has GoPro technical LUTs to give a better starting point.

    Vibrance FX Tips
I'm working a lot with GoPro footage these days, which is fairly neutral but also pretty lifeless in native/flat mode, and a big challenge is getting the colors to look rich and properly saturated. Vegas doesn't have a vibrance plugin, so the goal

@bigrock 15-18 is less a series of major upgrades than just continued refinements, some new features, and bug fixes. The problem with threads like these is that it doesn't give a representative idea of user experiences- it only attracts the people

Vegas effect not complete no HEVC
I was going do some editing of some gopro footage and pulled it into Veffects to do some work to have a warning show up. it seems Veffects doesnt have HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) built in. So they send you off to Microsoft store to buy them,

I use VEGAS Pro 17 (b. 455) along with the Canon EOS R6, and also shoot in CLOG, though typically at 3840x2160 @ 29.970, so I can match my GoPros' or either the AX-33/AX-53 from Sony. Typically, here is the Bit Rates from these guys: GoPro Hero 9

... I see. In my case it was mp4, from the GoPro, both HVEC and H264, both gave the error. Only after the update, before, with the same GoPros, no problems. If not everyone is suffering this bug let's hope it's not something complicated to fix then.

Vegas 17 user with a Vegas 18 trial that's not going well
Hey guys, I am currently on the fence about getting the Vegas Pro Suite upgrade for Vegas 18. I currently am running Vegas 17.0 build 455 and I am pretty happy with it overall. I have seen some videos and feedback online about how much better Vegas

@JN- Couldn't agree more. Back in 2013, I said, "... people assume that more complex = better. For consumer delivery, (GoPro Protune) is not; what it creates is wasted time, wasted drive space, and a lot of headaches.Protune RAW mp4 inside an editor

We all survived for decades on 480i...I've cropped down to that for short clips to be viewed on youtube, FWIW.I've also shot in 2K mode with my (older) GoPros when I knew I was going to zoom in edit. You might look into the Topaz AI software.

Set the GoPro on the chihuahua to 4K or 2.7K and the bacon will look extra crispy? You didn't mention what the cameras are, which makes a difference. Canon Rebel? Its 1080p isn't really even 1080p to begin with. Others at 1080p look a heck of a lot

I'd like a few opinions on how deep of a crop using PAN/CROP do you consider acceptable in 1080p. I regularly have to edit 2 or 3 camera armateur shoots for a local university. They shoot...I fix! With the exception of a fixed wide shot, the other
