RE: $10,000 PIP Challenge
It can be done but it'll cost you $1271.25 for a copy of Boris Sapphire (S-Effect) to crop & add a border, a preset can be saved but if each event needs cropping individually it's not one click you have to open the effect, crop & reposition

RE: What system component is most important to preview speed?
Yes, I’ve battled with track motion resolution limits in prior posts - it’s one reason I settled at a 4K render resolution, as zoomed softness was too obvious at 1080p. I have since started pre-cropping my character source files (which are native

RE: Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
I'm not sure that 3D Camera Mode / 3D Source Alpha is doing anything different here. I just tried a simple one parent / one child track test with a high resolution still at a lower project resolution (so it's more obvious to see if it's working),

RE: 10 bit color vs 8 bit color vs bitrate in video
@Former user Do you mean that motion tracking better results (with less failures) we can achieve in 4:2:2 10bits color depth than in 4:2:0 8 bits color depth? Motion tracking relies on points of high contrast, and it's high contrast where 444 (no

RE: Banding issue
Any attempts to correct this in post will be a contrivance; Selina's mask seems better than anything I was able to come up with in 2009 when I had a show that was shot like this. With new tools, tracking the overlay mask to the motion of the dropout

RE: Vegas Became completely unusable
Currently working with a 3090 on my desktop, and 2060 in my laptop. I decided to abandon team red, but not for video editing reasons... none of the ray tracing rederers in Cinema 4D that I use support AMD anymore, they've all jumped ship to Nvidia,

RE: Why video software can't be just easy, UX intuitive, like PowerPoint?
@Milosz-Nasadowski 😂 👍 I'm not defending Vegas because it is old software that needs a serious rewrite, but you can do most things with it, it just that isn't already done for you like in other software, For the text, there's no simple built in

All valid observations, and they have historical merit. Here is a FAQ that was posted a long time ago that mentions some of

RE: Why would I upgrade to Vegas POST ?
Thanks! So, if you add Mocha HitFilm to HitFilm Express, it says that it includes "...compositing with 3D camera tracking and planar mask tracking." Ref. https://fxhome.com/store/hitfilm-express And, on the VEGAS Post comparison page, it lists "3D

Problem when selecting keyframes
I'm editing track motion keyframes and if I am zoomed in past a certain amount on the timeline, selecting a keyframe will cause the very first keyframe to be selected instead, though I haven't been able to replicate this 100% consistently. Check out

RE: VEGAS 20 is Here!
One cool thing about File Drop, collaborators do not have to be on Windows, or even on a computer... any computer, laptop, tablet, or phone can access it and upload media to it regardless of OS. So, if you hire a team of camera operators to cover

RE: Why is it so hard to move images in veags.
... but it makes it move which I just want the image to stay in place. In either or both pan/crop and track motion, you wouldn't happen to have the 'sync cursor' activated by any chance? Having the sync cursor activated means that any framing

I use Track Motion to move things on the output. You could also use the Picture-In-Picture effect.
