RE: Fine Tuning Windows?
Thank you everyone for your post, they have been most informative. It looks like I will attempt win2k Pro like suggested in the near future. I am running dual Gina Sound Cards and a Tekram Scsi Card. I believe the last time I was at Echo's

Ignore Victor. He didn't get enough attention as a child. You shouldn't be having this problem. I can seemlessly playback over 24 tracks (stereo) that overlap. Call tech support or let us know what your system specs and OS are... More info would

Bad Vegas, BAD Vegas
I Hope someone can give me some advice...or help. I recently upgraded...actually replaced...my Vegas Pro (1.0) with Vegas Video (2.0). I mainly did this because Vegas 2.0 has the ability to "Lock Envelopes to Events", which I think is the BEST

Solved my own problem. MIDI Clock is set under the project preferences under Ruler (File->Preferences...). The documentation within the software, even at the lowest keyword search in the product, never brought this up when I searched for

Midi Clock tempo - how to set?
I'm trying to get Vegas Pro to be in sync with my Korg Electribe ER-1 drum machine. I've set "MIDI Clock" ON in Vegas, and set the Electribe to Ext (to be a slave). I'm using a SoundBlaster "AudioPCI" for MIDI out (and a Delta 66 to record;

RE: Looking for Direct X plugins
So, wouldn't you agree that comparing Vegas to Nuendo would be apples to oranges, considering the price? I can't find it, but I don't believe SF even claims to be such a recording product that would punch on the fly- not that it wouldn't be nice.

RE: Try Finishing the Audio Program before going Video
I think that when a product (and company) shows the promise that SF has over the past few years, people root for it. Sound Forge's ease of use was a blessing. It is useless, however, if you record 24 bit into Vegas. So, by that observation alone,
