RE: Serious bug in V9.0c
Just an update. I tried the same thing in V9.0c at 25fps and seemed not to get the same problem. Thinking it might have something to do with rounding off errors in the non integer frame rate I tried 24.000fps (film) and did get the problem. On

Serious bug in V9.0c
Excuse the not very informative title but I cannot think of a word to describe what I just saw. I was trying to build a test case regarding Serena's thread regarding a 16mm film transfer and hit a major snag, Here's what I did and what I saw. Bog

RE: Error message when dragging video to track
I tried this after reading your suggestion. I do not record to a DVD, rather a mem stick, but Iother than that, imported through Vegas as you described. Got same message. I copied details of message, hoping there are clues within. Thank you. Error

RE: iFrame
Although this will identify me as a bit of a rebel, I generally use the ratio 9:5 SAR rather than 16:9 for my widescreen renders. The dimensions of 9:5 SAR are simple enough to figure in one's head and are mutually factorable by the natural integers

RE: Best Consumer camera for personal use?
I judge the Canon Vixia HF S100 to be the best consumer camera for personal use. It's relative weaknesses are image stabilization and low light performance, but in most cases the image quality is phenomenal for a sub-1kilobuck camcorder. I do find

RE: Script to evenly space events on timeline?
Mornin' VP, The way I figure it, there is no need for a GUI. It would just get in the way of your workflow. Here is a script that I just wrote for you that should be much faster than using a GUI. Just select the track(s) you want to process and

RE: Vegas 8.0 preview/render issues - weird time delay
There is nothing below or above either of those tracks. Quantize to frames is off, but this error lasts for more than a second and so its not a matter of being in between frames...there's at least 24 messed up frames. It also doesn't make sense
