    RE: Track Motion Problem
Basically I added a 1920x1080 clip to a 1080x1920 project, increased it size with Track Motion, I had to increase the height to 6069 to fill the preview project size/height. (I tried working out why that number but couldn't) @Gid 1920 * (16 / 9)² =

    Vegas Pro collaboration for motion?
Hello everyone, I'm taking a quick off-topic to find out what you think.Could it be possible that one day Vegas Pro (i.e., Magix) could do another collaboration like they did for Vegas Effects? I saw an independent software program called "Cavalry"

RE: How can i get 50fps smoothness in 25fps render.?
@iEmby The only way you are going to keep the smoothness without motion blurring, artifacting, judder, jarring and without using various techniques like optical flow, AI (which can introduce the above issues) is very simple: slow motion. In your

    RE: Track Motion Problem
@melory-f Hi, I made a long post about how the Track motion settings relate to Media/Project, size, aspect ratio etc.. but to be honest after a couple of hrs trying to work it all out the sizes in Track Motion didn't seem to corelate to anything.

RE: VEGAS Pro 23 and MOCHA VEGAS
Perhaps the question to ask now is "Two years on does the motion tracking in VP23 work well enough to not need Mocha Vegas?". Thats something I shall have to look at.

    RE: Track Motion Problem
From my point of view, avoid using Track Motion to enlarge the footages. (Decreasing is acceptable.) In most cases, Pan/Crop should be used for enlarging. Another way to explain is to quote from a comment that's been made over the years: Pan/Crop

[Solved] Motion Tracking Out of Bounds
I motion tracked a clip and Vegas seemed to do an excellent job. When I transferred the motion to a piece of text, however, things got complicated. You could say that the text moves with the motion of the subject (which is great), but it doesn't lay

RE: Chroma Keyer "pictures of eyes" icons are missing in Vegas Pro 22
I do believe that Vegas is now aware of this problem and it will be up to them, at this point, if they want to make a Software Update regarding these specific changes in having ALL the display pictures showing up with a demonstrating visual under

[Solved] Drop shadow on image overlay
Why can't a simple drop shadow effect be added to image in Vegas. I tried this in Vegas 19 and 22 and adding the stock Vegas Drop Shadow (or BorisFX) effect doesn't work. Doing this in Davinci Resolves works fines (with Resolve and Boris versions)

RE: Motion Design in vegas 23
@BMR-D Although you can do great Motion Graphics and Compositing tasks in Vegas, Vegas Pro is a dedicated Video and Audio Editing tool. And even with the upcoming Vegas 23, you still have to switch to After Effects if doing advanced motion graphics

RE: Vegas Pro 22 - Rendering is not smooth
Thanks Alex. I checked and don't see duplicate frames, which is good. How exactly did you do the slow motion? Since the original footage was 50p you just halved the playback rate ("add at project framerate") to get perfect 25fps slow motion? Was the

Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
Using Vegas 20 in Win 11. Dell Precision 3630, 32 Gig RAM. I’m requesting a review of my attempt to accomplish the superimpositions of 30 .png family photos (different sizes and resolutions, alpha backgrounds, on separate tracks) over a single photo

@MH7 and @Dexcon, I turned off the GPU to see if that was the issue since others with Nvidia cards aren't experiencing this. I left AMD on in File I/O, both RAW Processor and Hardware Decoder, but in Video>GPU Acceleration, I had as OFF, the

RE: Motion Tracking using Brick Wall .png as Background
@DMT3 Not at all I did it within a minute, the trick is to use parent track motion to zoom equally/exact on both tracks. No trouble with matching coordinates. If @Sam-Stalos could provide the family.png's and the brickwall picture, I will provide

RE: need help understanding this stuttering pan phenomenon
@Mindmatter filming at 50P is good for occasional slomo and for fast movement such as panning or fast moving subjects, but if you are going to produce in 25P, the convert will drop frames and you are still stuck with noticeable stuttering/jerkiness

Hi, For the specific video, separate the most important intervals and also in the transitions study and apply slow motion because that is where you will draw attention to the beauty of the nature involved! Also, for the Vegas Pro developers, here is

Vegas native motion tracking doesn't use AI, and is a relatively basic motion tracker. Mocha Vegas (and Mocha Pro) is better - but still doesn't use AI, and also doesn't fair well with pong
