RE: New tutorial video for Vegas Pro 21
I almost forgot, you also use a 3D space/parallax in this scene. It's cool! In addition, I saw the manual method you showed in the tutorial to smooth the keyframes. If the third-party tool is allowed to be mentioned, you can try this

RE: Bit Rate as a Function of Complexity: Constant Rate Factor Encoding
The average bitrate of even a complex motion-in-detail x264 can be tamed by adjusting the vbv-bufsize and vbv-maxrate ratio. Very useful for streaming on social media with their peak bitrate penalties.

RE: [BUG] Slow motion FX artifacts with GPU acceleration turned on
Hopefully the bug will be fixed. What about editing the 50p footage on a 25p timeline for 2x slow motion?

RE: Go into slow-motion gradually?
Good ideas, guys - thank you! - will try. I knew about neither the Slow Motion FX nor the velocity envelope. Both are not easy to handle.

RE: VEGAS Pro Feature Requests
I would like the ability to adjust all parameters of the Track Motion section via midi or other hardware controller. For example, being able to assign the X, Y and Z axes to faders or to knobs would be ideal for 3D Source Alpha. having automation

RE: VEGAS Pro Edit 19 stops responding in the middle of editing
I miss the point to resample with frame blending 240 fps to 60 fps. Deactivate resampling or directly record with 60 fps. The point is I get some really clean motion blur. So if I switch to 60 FPS I won't get the motion blur. As also stated by

RE: Motion Tracking is inaccurate and loses its object.
Upload the video with the button with an up arrow. Motion tracking works better with certain footage and that's true with any compositing software.

RE: Help needed...New to Voukoder 13.4.1
A few parting thoughts. @john_dennis and I suggested you could slow down your video for a "possible" improvement in detail and motion quality. Unfortunately, hat is the only remaining option that I know of. John and I have over 100 years of combined

Struggling to properly motion track with the Mocha plug-in
Hi all, I am sort of new to using Vegas and I have been running into an issue with motion tracking using the Mocha plug-in. Basically, the tracking does work but when I insert the image into the part of the video I want to track, it just doesn't

RE: Some curiosity full questions about VEGAS's Future?
I was sad to learn that Vegas Pro Post is no more. But now I understand why. HitFilm Pro, the original author of the compositor Vegas Effects is about to fade away into history. That said, are there any plans to develop a similar compositor? I’m

RE: Vegas using a single core for rendering?
Okay, after doing a bunch more tests- it seems like nested timelines preform terribly in general. I did some super basic tests with many jpgs, few jpgs, many png, few png, motion, no motion. Despite all these tests running completely fine when

RE: Why don't slo-mo methods look as good as the Video Preview window?
@stevefoobar2 Are you comparing what you see in a small video preview window with a full-screen video player? There can be a big difference depending on which slow-motion method you used and what you have selected for resample mode in Project

[Solved] How to motion track a focal point
I'm hoping to slow down a clip and show a focal point, and then as the video moves, keep the focal point tracking with the object. Instead of trying to explain it, I've posted a picture that shows what I'm looking for. I've seen it done before, but

RE: Feature Request (Extract and process frames from a motion JPEG image)
JPEG motion image sequences are individual files, like any other still pictures, grouped and numbered in order. You can easily import whole JPEG Image Sequences into Vegas using the command. Open->Image Sequence. You can specify the duration of

RE: VEGAS Pro Update 3 - new feature tutorials, benchmark comparisons
For this tool to be usable it needs to be at "Runway AI, Inc." level. The most important thing is to be able to correct frames where the mask was incorrect, just like we do with motion tracking

Yes that 4070-s is good value but only has 12gb, I like the $450 price tag. You think I can get by smoothly with that card, editing 4k footage, color grading, titles, motion tracking, etc? I'll have an i9 14900k and 96Gb RAM. The Ti looks to only
