1.2 pixels in .9 pixels project

I have a 720x480 1.2 pixel file that i need to put in 720x480 .9 projects (so the fianl has bard on top and the bottom). what's the best way to go about it? Do i just drop the file in and change it's pixel aspect to 1.2???

If the file is already set to 1.2 for the PAR then all you have to do is drop it into your project. Vegas knows how to handle it.

If for some reason the PAR is wrong then you can go into properties / media for that clip and set it yourself, as you suggest.
