i think i know what your problem is! for the background music for some reason you have to use a .wav file for the music and the goes away try it and let me know. i think this is a bug you can use .ac3 file for music it want to make it too big then

2 things that I know of that have a 1Gigabyte limit.

a. The menu areas you have created, and that means everything that isn't audio or audio+video on the disc that runs as a chapter/title.

b. The segment size for the authored VOB media itself.

Both of these are limitations in the recommendations for DVD making itself. Albeit that either or both can be ignored in at least some players.

DVD Architect doesn't give you the full language control of a DVD and it is also not priced anywhere near the competition who claim those heights. Even many of those, AFAIK, don't make it easy for you to embed MPEG-1 A/V data within an MPEG-2 capable true-DVD, yet to be able to is part of the "spec". Sonic Foundry are targetting a luxury authoring tool for general use. Going above a 1Gbyte intro/menu seems to be a tad specialised. IMHO.

This is the best time to change their developers minds on these restrictions.
