By the way,

Where are the sound effects stored in the VMS software for version 9? I can't find any files on my pc labeled "1001 Sound effects" and I don't see any links in the Editing "Help" or "how to" sections while VMS is open. Thanks!

In the Content folder of the install disc. You have to manually copy them to a folder of your choice. They're not installed as part of the VMS install.

Anything else that has to be copied over, like the music?

And where please are they located if one downloaded VMS and do not have an install disc? I can't find anything remotely to do with sound effects when looking in the Sony program folder.

You should have received an email with a link and a set of serial numbers. If you click on My Account>My software it will show you what you've bought.

OK, thanks. I've just checked the product comparison page (again) and it appears that I was looking at the wrong column last time round. The sound effects are only available in the Production Suite version........oops. :-(
