1st 2 Minutes of Star Wars, Done All in Vegas

Well, we talked about making the Star Wars text in Vegas without any third party plug-ins, so here you go. The main file, tutorial_star.wars.scrolling.text.zip, uses a child *.veg file to load the text. There are no external graphics; it all happens in Vegas and it all stays in Vegas. By the way, if you have an audio copy of the Star Wars theme song it would fit perfectly - i've now included a sample WMV and the song plays there :)

Jonathon, That was first class and the best star wars titling I have seen, bar the real thing. I like the way you have used the gradient map to change the text colour. Great use of vegas tools!

Here's a short that my son did (at age 17) with Vegas which uses the Star Wars intro:

Not a bad effort for his first green screen production. Amazing what two high school kids and Vegas can come up with. He used this as an intro to his high school graduation party.
