2 Computer crashed, HELP

i installed vegas 9(64 bit) on my laptop it installed just fine but when i shut it off and turned it back on my laptop would not re-boot back up. I thought that is was my laptop so i installed version vegas (32 bit) on my other computer and the same thing happen on that computer, what is going on. is anyone else having this issue? if so how did you fix it? looking at the leastest version (Vegas 32/64 D) release states this a known issue and we were told that this issue is fixed. what should i do to fix this issue??????

What OS ? I've installed V9d 32 on XP and W7/32, and V9d/64 on W7/64 without this happening. May be something to do with a particular chipset ???

i installed 64 on windows 7 and 32 on windows xp pro... what do you think is going on?

I'd say that you have corrupted install files, via download or intermediate install media, a nasty virus, or most likely something that is corrupting registry when Vegas is finishing it's install.

Possibly some other software which clashes horribly with V9 or installs in general. Vegas is simply an application and shouldn't affect anything to do with being able to boot your computer !

What did you use to get the install files onto the computers ?

I downloaded vegas 9D sraight from sony website, do anyone any idea on how to get my computer ro re-boot?

the error message i am getting is: There is no bootable Portition.

You downloaded the file from Sony. Did you download it once and use that file to update both computers? If so, how did you move the file from one computer to the other? CDR? Network?
