2 differnt HD cameras in work flow?

Hello,

I have miniDV tapes that I used in a JVC-HD100 camera for a shoot.

I am unable to play or capture in a Panasonic HVX200p.

Is it possible to use 2 different cameras in the manner above with HD?

For starters the HVX200 doesn't support HDV, it'll only record DV to tape. On that basis I assume with a fair degree of certainty that it will not playback a HDV tape either.

Short answer is
"no."

JVC tapes can't be transferred to any NLE from any device but a JVC cam or JVC BR deck.
HVX only plays/outputs DV from tape. HDV is a different codec.
