Many times now in V8 only when I render an HDV project to avi or wmv or any file for that matter. Vegas will give the file an m2t extension. So when I look for the file I can't find it until i rememeber that vegas improperly adds the extension and I change it to the proper extension and all is fine.

I also noticed when copying a video clip that Vegas now randomly asks to make a copy or link to the source media as it properly does with generated media. Anyone else have this happening as well? It is definitely a time waster.....
