I installed Vegas Pro Suite 22 last week (updated graphic card drivers via Vegas two days ago). I also have 20 and 21 installed on this laptop (details are in my profile- Razer laptop).

I wanted to utilize the AI Smart Mask 2.0, but am running into what appears to be a non-responsive FX. Please see the video for what I'm experiencing. It may very well be user error, but I've spent the greater part of this evening looking for how to apply this FX, and what I see online vs what I'm seeing are two different things. Are these additional purchases? Also, I can't find Mocha anywhere. I know that came with it, but it's not in my FX and I spent a few hours downloading and installing all the modules/plugins for Vegas 22 when I bought it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re BCC FX, you seem to have installed the complete BCC Suite which you would have needed to have purchased or subscribed to direct from BorisFX.

If you were installing a single BCC or BCC Unit that came as a bonus with Vegas Pro at some time, BorisFX explain from 01:40 in the following YT tutorial how to install the licensed plugins without installing all the non-licensed plugins:

Please note that Mocha Vegas is not part of BCC; rather, it is a single program. The installer for Vegas Pro Suite 22 should include a checkbox for installing Mocha Vegas for Vegas Pro 22. However, the direct links for Vegas Suite 22, including Mocha Vegas, is under point 7 in:

I've had no issues using Smart Mask 2.0 in VP22 B194. Screenshots below using it.

Also, Mocha Vegas is a plugin that can be found in the Video FX tab in Vegas Pro Suite only. Also, where did you get the BorisFX from? There is no Boris plugins included in VP22 Suite.

The above post shows how to install Boris FX without installing all the other unlicensed plugins.

The BCC group must have been from a previous installation that 22 picked up from a default directory. In years past I did have several BCC plug-ins around the 7 version. I do see in my products page I have Boris FX Primatte Studio 2021.5 from Vegas 21.

Thanks for the information on Mocha and where to find the direct download.

I still am having no luck with smart mask. I'm going to try it in Vegas 21 and see if it works there.

Have you tried RESETTING Vegas?

I haven't yet. I'm in the middle of a project. Given past experience, I'm going to finish the project first before doing anything that would change Vegas.

Also, I see that when I purchased Vegas 18 Suite, it came with some Boris FX as well as New Blue FX too. I guess I need to go back and revisit my old confirmation emails and see what's all available to me by way of add-ons :)

Yeah... finish what you are editing first. And when you have time to set things up, then you can do a reset.

By the time VP18 Suite came around, I had upgraded to Boris FX Continuum Complete. I didn't have to worry about what works in what version of Vegas and what will erase what is already installed. Besides, there are there are so many different plugins and tools, it is really amazing!
