2 video / audio sources

I am trying to mix two video / audio sources (2 cameras from different angles). I would like to mix the audio and video seperately but can't figure out how to seperate the audio portion from the video. I want to be able to keep the same audio but use either video. Can anyone help me?

First you need to sync the two videos together. I hope that both cameras ran continuously .. if not there is much more work involved..

You can sync either by using the video portion .. if both cameras show the exact same scene with a sharp, quick movement of some sort.

OR, you can sync using the audio from both cameras. Expand the timeline a *lot* so that you can easily see the waveforms and then match them up visually. I usually mute one for the visual alingment .. then un-mute it to hear what it sounds like.

Whichever soundtrack you want to keep .. mute the other one.

Within the toolbar at the top, click on "ignore event grouping." This will allow you to play with the audio separately from the video.
