24p/film look with Gamma Settings in VV

A new camera with innate 24 fps or Cine settings for that sought after "film look" would be nice. I have searched the archives for this.
Has any one posted on: using Vegas Gamma settings (on the Brightness and Contrast filter) to approximate the film look ? Thanks, Diego

Have you ever heard of the DVX100a? There is also the Magic Bullett ifyou have lots of time for it to render.
