25 fps in custom template for rendering not possible?

I'm currently evaluating Vegas 5.0 b Build 160 Trial. I tried to define a custom template for rendering. However, the "frame rate" drop down box does not offer values suitable for PAL (25 or 50 fps). When I type in a number of 25,000 or 50,000 it is replaced by 60,000 as soon as I press the OK button or change from "video" tab to other tabs.

Project properties do support PAL frame rates.

Is this a known error or a limitation of the trial version?

What file type/format and template are you choosing? The full version definately supports PAL frame rates. You might also want to try typing in 25 or 50 instead of 25,000 or 50,000. Unless you have specifically European settings for numbers it might be seeing "25,000" as twenty-five thousand which might be confusing it.

Maybe it's about WMV rendering. True, to have 25 fps rendering is very tricky when using WMV.

Thank you all for your hints. Yes, it seems to happen only if file type is WMV 9. Other file types (such as AVI) accept 25 and 50 fps.

Typing 25.000 or 25 instead of 25,000 does not change the wrong behaviour. Could somebody verify if the full version works correctly, because I'm interested in rendering to WMV 9 format.

@Marco:
What do you mean with 'very tricky'?
