2560 x 1080 Rendering errors. Vegas 11

My monitor is 2560x1080. I want to render videos to 1920x1080p

This is usually hit or miss if Vegas will render the 2560x1080 to 1920 x1080.

It gets very frustrating when it doesn't work and gives me an unknown error occurred while rendering.

What is the best way to solve this. I see I cannot set up my project file for 2560x1080 as this seems to be unsupported by Vegas 11.

This seems to be crating an error on render output while converting the resolution.

I am new to video editing so speak in newb terminology please! : )

Do you know what format, file type, and codec your source material is? I'm guessing it's a screen capture, otherwise you'd be very unlikely to have a source file that matches those dimensions.

What format, file type, and codec are you trying to render to?

AVI format capture from fraps. 2560x1080

trying to render Main Concept AAC 1920x1080P

Looking for best results for youtube.
