29 fps to 24 fps in the same clip?

Hi! I'm having a major issue that I need help with!!! I've finished editing a project and when I render it to MPEG2, import it into DVD Architect, and burn a CD, the final project has sequences where the video seems to "flash" when its played in a television. The MPEG2 version doesn't flash when I play it on the computer. I've heard that it might be a problem with the settings in terms of "lower field first" or "upper field first" etc. However, I've tried various settings, getting the same result. I've used Vegas for a couple of years now and run into this in a couple of projects...however, in this one I have no alternative....I must use the clips where the "flashing" comes up. Its almost as if the video switches from 29 fps to 24 fps, and then back again. But, when it hits 24 fps, it also flashes...becoming very annoying.

Any help would be appreciated!

"import it into DVD Architect, and burn a CD"

i assume you mean burn a DVD ... have you burned more then one ? maybe the DVD disc is bad ??

to see if bad VOB - the mpeg 2 does not have the flashes OK ... now go into the DVD prepare folder to look at the project and look in the Video ts folder for the .VOB file to the mpeg ( it will be the one that is the same size as the mpeg ) ... copy and paste it to desktop then change the extension from .vob to .mpg ..now play it - if it is OK then IMO it was the burning or the DVD disk that was bad = burn another DVD

if the file is bad then delete the prepare folder and all files then create another DVD prepare/burn in DVDA ...
