Love W7, from a die hard XP fan.

In W7, you right click the .exe file and tell it to run in what ever Windows mode you want. Win 95 to Server2K to XP...

Works so far on some older programs.

I'll bet if you ran a similar survey today you'd find that 100% of businesses have no plans to migrate to Vista (or to Win2k, for that matter).

Personally I've never had serious problems with Vista.. except for annoyances like the dumb'd down interface. Though my Vista PC is only for web surfing and administrative type stuff.
As I've previously stated, it seems every other Win OS is a Turkey. For instance Win 98 (not SE) Win Millennium, Vista (sort of) and it appears Win 8 is going that direction and grows more infamous by the day.

98se was pretty good and brought USB with it. XP was/is solid, which is why millions have stuck with it, including me.

W8 has gotten a very mixed reception, which is why MS is introducing 8.1 this summer. Apparently someone in Redmond has decided that it is safer to not tell everyone what they should want. Some serious backpedaling going on.
