3D camera tracking.

Hello, sorry for this question, maybe it's impolite, but I used After Effects a long time ago and remember that in him I easily have used built-in 3D camera tracker for 3D tracking, so I thought that in the Vegas Effects I will find the same, but no. What I can do in this situation? As I know, Mocha Vegas and built-in Motion Tracker they are planar trackers. I know that 3D camera solver exists in Mocha PRO, but maybe it is any other solutions?

Use Blender and import the results into VEGAS Effects.

Thank you for advice. Also maybe you know, when 3D camera tracking function will be add to the Vegas Effects as built-in function.

Vegas Effects derives from HitFilm Pro, basically being the compositing engine from that product. HitFilm Pro does have 3D camera tracking, but this is thanks to the use of a 3rd party product from The Foundry (essentially an extract of Nuke's Camera Tracker function), and they apparently cannot licence on for use in Vegas Effects. So Magix would have to negotiate with The Foundry ( I don't think they can code something themselves)

Like lan-mLMC  I've tended to use Blender for this (along with Mocha Pro)

Vegas Post 22.0 Build 239
Boris FX Continuum for OFX 2025 Build 18.0.1.303 - 74
Boris FX Mocha Pro Plug-in 2024.5 v11.5.1 Build 60
Windows 10 Pro - 64-Bit
ASUS PRIME Z390-P motherboard
Intel Core i7-97000K @ 3.6GHz
RAM 32GB (2x 16GB) 2666MHz DDR4
GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

Maybe this day will never come. Before Artlist acquired Hitfilm a few years ago, I always suggested to Magix and FXHome to add Foundry Camera Tracker to VEGAS Effects, but I haven't received a positive response so far.

With Artlist's development of Hitfilm becoming more and more inactive, I even have deep worries about the future of VEGAS Effects, not to mention expecting them to add Foundry Camera Tracker to it.

If VEGAS Effects can be developed steadily, then SynthEyes camera tracker of Boris FX may be a tool worth looking forward to.
SynthEyes has already supported Hitfilm Pro, and VEGAS Effects can be supported with a little modification. I believe Boris FX is willing to do so, and they have always been very friendly to Magix/Veags.

Okay, thank you for your answers.

It would be nice to have Foundry 3D Tracker as an optional plugin for VE. SynthEyes is another option, but it's an expensive option with perpetual being $600. Of course, there is the subscription where you can subscribe monthly or yearly.
