There are lots of Tutorials on Vegas Pro's website:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/us/online-tutorials/

Also, lot's of 3rd party tutorials on YouTube if you search 'Vegas Pro'.

Some Tutorials are titled with Beginner or other, but I don't think that you're going to find a categorisation of difficulty level like you might when looking at an educational program like learning another language.

Dexcon, Thanks for the link, but it only takes me to the sales page for Vegas. The tutorials for effects are really just ads and sales pitches for their product. I'm specifically after tutorials for the effects package that comes with Post.

Thanks, Ian-mLMC, I will check these out. Is effects really Hitfilm? Are they the ones that make Effects for Vegas? Do you know of any Vegas Post specific tutorials, or if there are any official tutorials planned?

@Ian-Jackson  .... ugh. The tutorials that used to be there are now gone, replaced by promos.

It looks like its all on YouTube these days.

Thank you for this. I will give them a viewing when I've got time. The ones on fxhome are excellent tho not specific to Vegas Effects.

Dexcon wrote on 11/12/2020, 5:53 AM

My understanding is that Vegas Suite is a collaboration between Vegas Creative Software and FXHome, the latter being the makers of HitFilm Pro. That collaboration has resulted in Vegas Effects which is effectively HitFilm Pro with the exception that Mocha is not included in Vegas Effects. So, for the most part, the tutorials referred to by @lan-mLMC are applicable to Vegas Effects other than by name.
