My first attempts to render 3D media from my Sony HDR-TD10 in my Vegas Pro 20 (build 403) produce a 2D file. I have no problems rendering a 3D file with the same media using my "old" Sony Vegas Pro 13 (build 545).
I noticed that my Vegas Pro 20 does not have a "Stereoscopic 3D mode" on/off selection in the "Video" properties but rather under the "advanced tab". I also select "Pair with next stream" in the both individual video stream "Properties" under "Media tab".
I also make sure "GPU acceleration of video processing" is "off" in "Preferences" under "Video" tab something I learnt from Sony Vegas Pro 13 3D rendering.
I would appreciate guidance.
Happy Mother's Day 😀
5/15/23 Problem solved.... turned out I should only select "Pair with next stream" on stream 1 in the "Media tab". I also moved my track with stream 1 above the track with stream 2 - not sure why Vegas Pro 20 reversed the track order, and it might not make a difference as long as you select "Pair with next stream" for video stream 1 ?!
Cheers
