3D source alpha?

Hi,

I just received a copy of Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition for xmas. I was trying to create a 3d scrolling tite, very similar to the Star Wars opening as a joke for friends. I have noticed however that my Composite mode has only 2 options, and 3D source alpha is not one of them. Does this program have the capability to manipulate text in 3D?

I don't believe so. I think that feature is only available in the full "Pro" version of Vegas. Note that "Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro Pack" is not the "Pro" version.

Check out THIS thread. While we don't have 3D in VMS, it can be done using the Deform effect as described by gmes29.
