3D Source Alpha Globe missing

JimmyJoe wrote on 10/15/2017, 12:26 PM

VEGAS Pro 15 The globe was there when first installed since I wanted that and checked it out. Then I did a project that did not use it but used Pan&Crop and then put in the latest patch. Now the globe is not there. The Z Axis numbers are there but it doesnt seem to give me the effects I want when I play with numbers. That globe was much esier.
I unistalled and reinstalled but same issue.
I am a rank amateur but do videos for family and friends and would like to incorporate the z axis for stills/video effect.
Any idea what I may have done to disable the globe to play in 3D space for my stills and videos?

Not on 15, don't know what you have in mind when you say "globe", but you might look at the Layout dropdown if you have one.

Thank you for attempting the answer. It must be that I am missing something easy.

this is what I mean by the globe. Hard to see but the round one in yours can me then moved in all directions and there is a partial circle that is the mouse moving the jpeg into different positions. This is a clip from a tutorial I found.
Thanks again for any clarification on what I must be doing wrong as a newbie to Vegas Pro series from Vegas movie studio.

i am sorry for bothering you. but in the reply I opened it once more and saw that partial circle where it said.
Enable Rotation.
Actually you did help me. By making me look at it again and clarifying my question I found the answer.
Once again, thank you for the fast reply for a newbie. The posts on here are mostly way over my head but now that I am retired I have a LOT more time to play with it.
Thanks again!!

Hmm, looks like I should have tagged my comment as a solution. I will try to be a better forum person.
In the TRACK MOTION menu bar I turned off ENABLE ROTATION. Once I turned it on again my "globe" came back. The last icon on the right.

As I suspected I made a simple error and turned it off. Thanks again for making me look harder.
