48,000khz Audio Slowing down

I did a project and have a wav file in 41,000khz but when I render to a mpeg 2 file (whole project) the rate is resampled at 48,000 and now all my audio sounds slow. Is there a way to render this file at 48 (dvd quality) but keep the pitch and sound the same?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks...

start your project at 48; resample/convert your audio to 48; set the render dialog settings to render 44.1 audio instead of 48 for your project.

How do you change the render dialog settings? everytime we hit the Customs settings button - nothing happens. We really need to get everything caught up to speed here with what we have, so I'm really hoping this is going to be possible since the project is already finished.

The setting change is NOT in Custom, it's in the TEMPLATE drop down box.
