Im currently using MS 13 and i can render at 1920x1080 but no more. I was wondering at what resolution the more expensive versions can render at

I think that is the max possible for now. I just tried to render out a 4K project at 8K (7680 x 4320) and although I could put in those dimensions and successfully render - the resulting file was only 4096x2160.

I'm sure someone will complain about this in 3, 2, 1...

thx for the replies, but i think i forgot somethink inportant. I meant if you could render in more than 1080 in the more expensive moviestudio series

I haven't used Vegas Movie Studio.

The max default template in MS14 pl is 4K 2160p and more isn't possible

If you are using Movie Studio 13 non-platnium edition, you cannot output in 4K-you can only output in 4K on Platnium and Suite (found that out the hard way).
