What you have to do is set one keyframe then move to the next keyframe position. When you get to the right point in the clip adjust the pan/crop for that point. doing that will set a keyframe for that point.

That's what I thought. My pans are now keyed, but they still aren't working when I play back in my theater. The panning effects still come out of the center channel. They sounded right with non-surround pans, but the surround doesn't seem to work.

Any other hints?

In Vegas, the effect is definitely coming from the left side of my laptop, but once in Architect, sounds like it is coming from the center.

My project properties is 5.1 surround. My render is .ac3 5.1 surround. Architect is set to 5.1 surround. Is there anything in architect I can use to see if the channels rendered like I expect?

Where is my surround!?!?!

Also, does Vegas do .dts encoding? I'm not even sure what the difference is - is there some site that would help me out in this area wrt Vegas?
