6.0b bug extending time of clips (w/o loop)??

I have been using Vegas 6.0b without any issues. Tonight, I had a bit of a strange thing happen:

I have a clip which I changed the speed of. At the end of the clip, I extended it and and put a fade to black. By default, the clip is set to loop - I disabled this, so it would freeze frame for the remainder of the time. On the preview, this looks fine. When I render it to NTSC DV widescreen, the video cuts to black, i.e. does not freeze frame and then fade to black. This worked fine on v5.0d.

I have sent my details off to Sony, along with the .veg. file, but it would be interesting / helpful if somebody else could repeat this.

Let me correct that, it worked on 5.0d, but I did not have the fade to black part. Not tried it again on 5.0d with the fade to black part as I have uninstalled 5.0d.

I have updated Sony, but it looks like if you extend a clip beyond its time limit, the render is fine if loop is selected in the properties. If loop is deselected in the properties, then the render cuts to black at the boundry.
