64 bit VMS When?

OK, lots of folks are moving to 64 bit systems. Is there a VMS 64bit version in the works? I can't believe I have to trash my $125 program to a $600 program just to keep Sony software for video editing!

VMS is perfect for us who need an excellent video editing program; I think going to a professional software like Vegas Pro is way overkill. I'd never use half the features of VP. Come on give us a little love here. How about something we can afford?

First of all, 32-bit VMS works fine on the 64-bit OS's. But to answer your question- those who know are under NDA. Those who give you an answer, don't know.

Fine? Not fine. I need to import a 1gb VOB file to edit from a home made DVD. VMS will import video, but not the sound track. What's that all about?

Here's how you import a DVD:

File - Import - DVD Camcorder Disc - and then point it to the DVD you want to import. Vegas will then convert the disc properly so you and add the pieces you need to the timeline.
