64bit Woes

Hello,
I have been using Vegas 9 32 bit on vista for a few years , and never had any issues with it. I have recently updated my pc which runs Windows 7, and thought I will put on the Vegas 64 bit.
This seems very laggy, even with simple text, I have a whole new system , 3.4 , 6 gig of Ram, intel I5 and 1 Gig Graphics card, what am I missing, the 32 bit runs a sweetly as ever, yet when I switch , like I say...its Lag city.

Thanks,

Glenn

Are you running 9.0c 64 bit ?

When you say laggy -- do you mean the preview window is not playing smoothly or at full frame rate?

Is this all types of files? Projects? Any red thumbnails on the timeline? Do JPG's or PNG files seem to disappear?

Sorry for the late response Xberk ,
The stuff I am doing is basically finishing off stuff I had been editing in the 32 bit , AVI , and nested MPEG2 with 5.1.
Before I imported anyhing , I just messed about with some type and a Video Copilot Mist composite running on Add channel, it was Lag city.
Nothing disappears, it just locks up , and starts Jarring , until it freezes, I am using the latest update 9c.

I reitterate that its fine on the 32 bit.

Thanks
