I put a 1 hour movie on a disc and it was telling me that it was only 73 percent of the media being used, yet I used the highest bit rate of 9800. How can this be?
Well, there are a few bitrate calculators, use it if you don't trust your software. Your digits don’t look like a science fiction. But... I hope your bitrate 9800 is TOTAL (video+audio), not only video bitrate. Otherwise, your DVD will be inoperative.
The DVD works fine, but what I am trying to do is this: Put 1 hour onto a DVD at the highest possible quality. This should completely fill the disk, but Architect doesn't seem to be able to let you do this, or am I mssing something?
Also make sure that you have DVD Architect 1.0c, which can be downloaded from here. There were issues with calculating available space in the initial release of DVDA.
