8.0c reinstall - no video playback

After a system drive crash, had to reinstall. Installed Vegas 8 and 8.0c update and don't have any video playback - no preview, no thumbnails, and my Decklink card isn't showing up as a preview device. Audio is fine. I tried several video files, both Quicktime and AVI, multiple codecs, etc.

Any ideas?

Uninstalled Vegas, went back to 8.0 and now I can see previews - just no DVCPro/ProRes encoded files, so I'm rendering those masters out to uncompressed and replacing the ProRes media to get this short project done.

I assume this was added in 8.0b? Couldn't find a download link for 8.0b - just 8.0c, and for some reason, 8.0c seems to be the problem here.
