8.1 pan/crop very slow & Zoom

I just updated to 64 bit. I run Vista premium. etc.

In 32 bit xp the pan/crop zoom worked perfectly when scrolling with mouse. But now it is very slow.

Did I take step backwords on speed when updating to 64 bit enviroment ???

Or is my computer just so slow...

Seems that problem is in mouse?? Weird......

Mouse issue is solved in update 8.1b?

My mouse is Microsoft wireless laser mouse 5000. Just updated the driver and nothing happened.

Is there any list of wireless mouses that I dare to buy??? Or do I buy 20 mouses just to find out that none of them works???

I´m little dissapointed...

I'm running a standard optical mouse Logitech BJ58. No problem with 8.1 zooming on pan/crop. I'm running on Vista 64. I run my mouse at all the default settings inside Vista. If you have the correct drivers for 64 bit installed for the mouse and have tried to resolve with settings, then I'd make Sony aware of the problem. Sounds like Vegas 8.1 does not like the Microsoft mouse wheel or vice/versa.

First I hope that they answer it... not just ignore it...

Next I hope that they correct the problem or at least tell me what kind of an mouse do I need exactly....

I Dont do film editing just for fun... Zoom feature is very important when workin with the projects.

I´ll go to buy an new mouse when Sony corp. tells me which one works. Meanwhile I just try my old mouses or go to lend some from my friends. I like it wireless... dont want cableversion any more

I have used Vegas from 2005... 4 years now. It has always worked perfectly for me. And I think it beats all other solutions which I have tried. Product is excellent!!
