OK, I installed 8c yesterday and right away found that the trimmer was problematic (for me anyway) All it would do is play audio, not show video. I did a search and found this
"When the Show Video Monitor button in the Trimmer window is selected, video that you preview from the Vegas Explorer and Media Manager windows is played back in the Trimmer.... "
Problem is when I right click on the trimmer and bring up the side-bar menu, at the bottom "Show Video in Preview Window" is grayed out. Could some very patient person give a relative newcomer a step-by-step in Dummie-Speak as to how to have the video & audio play in the Preview window?
