98lite

Anybody using 98lite? I was reading about it on other
forums and at thier website.(www.98lite.net) I seems to
streamline your OS by getting rid of IE among other useless
things. If you are using it, do you think it has helped
your system out?

I'm using it. I think Win98 modified by 98lite is the way
to go. You won't believe how much more overhead your system
has once you've freed the Win98 shell of all that IE bloat.
I don't access the Internet with my audio system at all,
anyway, so eliminating IE was a smart move for me. For
anyone else in this situation (and I think keeping the
Internet off audio machines is a good idea in general), I
recommend it heartily.
