9c "Blue Screening" some of my photos

Something I've just noticed about 9c is that one of my photos (8bit greyscale) has the sky "blown out" to black as though I had deliberately done it for a blue screen effect.
But it only happens at certain zoom postions while using pan and scan.
2 photo's so far - one of them is colour and has a sort of pixilated wildly coloured effect applied like I was playing with it in photoshop, but only in the sky and again only at certain zoom positions.
Anyone got any ideas.

This is a known bug that has been around in various forms since 9.0a. It happens with color photos too. Apparently didn't make it on the list to fix for 9.0c.

Thankyou, that will save me a bunch of messing around trying different stuff in Photoshop.
Oh boy, how on earth am I going to deal with this?
Wait for a fix I suppose, thank goodness there's no client expecting results.
