1. If I am pulling in via Firewire from Mini-DV for output to DVD, what format should I capture in? MPEG1/MPEG2/AVI? Disk space is NOT an issue here.
2. I find that using the capture in Movie Studio 3 works great as long as the tape has a good time code on it. If it encounters a gap with no time code, the video camera keeps running but my desktop is frozen solid. A hard reboot is needed at that point. Has anyone else run into this? I find myself going back to Pinnacle Studio 8 for the capture and then editing in Movie Studio.
