A few problems/questions I have with vegas pro 20 since buying it

Hello I'm new to the vegas pro 20 software and hopefully some here can help with my questions/problems. 1. I'm unable to see the sfx in my preview screen unless I exit the sfx plug-in settings menu. 2. I have an issue where a clip is highlighted and i want to delete it completely along with its audio channels but it makes me individually delete each one, unless they are all highlighted in yellow which I don't know how to do. IDK if that's a setting I turned on. 3. Does anyone have any plug in settings recommended to be very similar to what hitfilm vibrance did in earlier versions of SVP? Thank you for any help or suggestions.

@Mike1 Hi,

There's a button at the bottom 'Ignore Event grouping' have you turned this on by accident?
Sorry don't know about SFX & Vibrance ... contrast and color saturation.. .I don't think there is one dedicated fx 🤷‍♂️😁

for the first issue, once I switched from my nvidia driver and went to my laptops uhd graphics driver for gpu acceleration it fixed the preview sfx. The 3rd thing wasn't really an issue so it's alright that there's no real answer, maybe theyll be some added plug ins for 21 that will help some of us out who are in tune with all the colorings and lighting balances, the 2nd issue no I don't have the 'ignore event grouping" on, my issue is when i have a video file along with its other channels if only the video file is highlighted in yellow its the only part that gets deleted, which can be strenous having to delete 5 audio channels individually. so I'm mainly looking on how to highlight all the channels of a singular clip to delete them all at once. btw thank you all for the fast responses to my issues.

Here is how to recreate the Hitfilm Vibrance effect in VEGAS without having to use any third party plugins. Keep in mind once you build this effect chain, you can save it as a preset and call it back up as needed without having to go through this process again.

You may get better performance by updating the Nvidia driver instead, go into the driver update utility in the VEGAS help menu, download and install any drivers it recommends. You typically want the Nvidia GPU to be used for GPU acceleration in the video tab of preferences, and the intel QSV to be used for the decoding acceleration in the file i/o tab of preferences.

When I do that on my laptop I get the first problem @Mike1 mentioned in the OP
However when I use Nvidia driver 522.30 instead of the latest I get the settings you mention as best
