Hi Folks, I'm a long time Vegas 6 user right now making the jump to 9 and a new computer. Couple of questions? Do you have video card suggestions? ATI vs GForce? I run 2 monitors now and would like to run a 3rd monitor for preview. Does that run on a video card or some kind of external box? Also wondering how to speed up rendering time? Does rendering take place on the video card or the cpu, or both.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Steve

Current versions of Vegas do not use GPU assist for rendering. Any video card that works on your computer works with Vegas.
To speed up rendering (and preview), use a faster CPU.

Some newer ATI & Nvidia cards allow 3 monitors. Windows also allows you to have multiple video cards being used at once (with Vista & 7 you need them to all use the same video driver).
