A minor gripe about envelopes

Check it out: I've got a project with a Fade To Color envelope present across the entire timeline. All's good.

Until I add a Velocity Envelope. The Fade envelope, for the most part, is set to 0%, and it obscures the Velocity Envelope entirely. Very frustrating, as I can't add or manipulate points along the Velocity Envelope easily.

Am I missing something?

It is a bit of a fiddly business, but you can use View > Video Envelopes to hide the Fade to colour envelope while you set the velocity.

Hiding doesn't alter any settings - they'll still be there when you make it visible again.

You can also change the color of the envelopes, while they can still hide each other, you can more quickly identify which is which. I've made some wild colors for my envelopes....
