A POSITIVE NOTE

Hi All,

I have been a DVDA1 user for some time now and with a little creative input had good looking DVDs for clients. Now DVDA 2 is here, well I must say that it is one great product. Stick with the learning curve as steep as it may seem because it is worth it. The preview to monitor (in realtime I might add) is by far the greatest tool, no other semi-pro authoring program that I am aware of offers this, had a slight hitch but have since worked it out (turn on firewire before booting up, If in Vegas stop monitor preview before slipping over to DVDA 2) works like a dream and extremely accurate. I have found that TV res is so varied to get a perfect non-shimmering menu is almost impossible even with blur. Overall the product is first class and at the end of the day our individual creativity is what matters.

Sony, pat yourselves on the back, this coupled with Vegas 5 is great...coffeebean

Thank You,
I had external preview work briefly and though I'd never seen a real need for it wahing used it it's very useful for a lot of the work I do. Hopefuly with your tips I'll be able to get it working again.
Still think Sony should make the thing a bit more stable (the 1394 interface).
