I'd suggest using a lesser PC for DVDA that you never update, that is always offline

I think that Teagan is suggesting that if you have an older no longer in use computer with an older install of Windows (even W7 or W8.1) with DVDA installed, use that off-line computer (i.e no internet connection) for using the full functions of DVDA.

it is impossible to prevent Windows updates...

Yes it is. If the computer is off-line and thus not connected to the internet, Windows 10 can't update. It's only necessary to be on-line to activate W10 at its installation.

Of course, if you haven't got an older computer which can't be off-lined, then this is not an option.

You are right ! I have an older computer and I have modified the registry so it could never update but when I put it at work it did update. Fortunately on this one I can roll back to a previous version. I will let you know !

I found the DVDA problem and everything works as before (even in 3D). NEVER, NEVER replace a default directory: they are hard-coded in the program ! Many thanks to those who took care of that issue !

I solved the issue with DVDA: NEVER replace any default directory: they must have been hardcoded !
